HATMAN SET TO HOST ITS 20TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN) is set to host its landmark 20th International Conference in Awka, Anambra State, bringing together hospitality and tourism professionals, academics, industry leaders, researchers, students, policymakers, and other stakeholders to discuss the future of the industry in an increasingly digital world.
The 2026 edition of the prestigious conference will hold from 20th to 24th October, 2026, at the Chicotel Classique Hotel Limited, Awka, Anambra State.
The conference will focus on the timely and thought-provoking theme:
“Artificial Intelligence and Digital Agenda: Implication for Global Transformation in Hospitality and Tourism.”
As Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies continue to reshape global industries, the hospitality and tourism sector is experiencing significant changes in service delivery, customer experience, marketing, operations, education, workforce development, and business innovation.
The HATMAN 20th International Conference will provide an important platform for stakeholders to examine these developments, exchange knowledge, explore emerging opportunities, and discuss how Nigeria and Africa can position their hospitality and tourism industries for global competitiveness.
